National Assistance Card proud to support Brain Awareness Week in 2023

The National Assistance Card Service is proud to support the upcoming Brain Awareness Week from March 13-17 2023.

Brain Awareness Week is taking place from March 13-17 which presents a great opportunity to learn more about brain health, and the brain diseases, disorders and injuries that affect so many Australians.

The National Assistance Card is supporting the Brain Foundation by sharing details and information about the upcoming week and its events.

The National Assistance Card is available to all Australians living with brain injury - you can also check more about current eligibility for the Card.



The Brain Foundation will launch the week with a live expert webinar on Understanding Brain Health and Dementia Risk as the keynote event on Monday, 13 March.

Each day during Brain Awareness Week, the Brain Foundation will release and highlight different resources which will be sent via email to registered participants.

- LIVE WEBINAR: Understanding Brain Health and Dementia Risk

- Researcher videos about different brain conditions, including mild traumatic brain injury (concussion)

- Downloadable fact sheets

- Stories about people’s lived experience with disability and brain injury
